I always loved the 80's, especially those wireframe Tech demos. I wanted to do something similar but with a modern touch. I set my ruleset to: black, white, line, dot
The Call
Type of work:
Experimental film project (third semester)
I originally intendet this video to be longer and much more in context with a story about a girl who finds herself in the woods. She then approaches a tree only to find spiritual enlightenment. I had to leave out many scenes due to high rendering times.
The Key
Type of work:
Task (second semester)
In this video, I tried to visualize the idea of yourself holding the key to your inner light. The one who opens the gate to virtually infinite possibilities. This was my first After Effects project. I do not claim any copyrights for the song, but for the video.
Magic
Type of work:
Task (fourth semester)
We had the freedom to pick any song we wanted to and to recreate a music clip for it. I happened to join up with a group which did a great job preparing Ideas. My work consisted of pre & post production. I do not claim any copyrights for the song, but for the video.
Designachtsmarkt 2015
Type of work:
Voluntary video
Every December my fellow students embrace the spirit of Christmas by setting up their own design market. There they cheer, drink, laugh and sell their very own, mostly handmade design products. A very special and beautiful event. I do not claim any copyrights for the song, but for the video
Between autumn and winter of 2016 I traveled through Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Cambodia. I combined the trip with a photography project and only used a compact camera. The Canon G9X.
Since I had poor depth of field with this camera, I decided to take this opportunity to force myself to be more creative with the pictures themselves, like composition, lighting, content and colors.
The result was a wide variety of pictures about places and their inhabitants in various combinations.
